Mario J. Iwanczuk, CPA
As the Managing Partner, Mario utilizes his 30+ years as a practicing Certified Public Accountant to serve as a trusted advisor to his clients. He focuses on helping entrepreneurs and business start-ups with everything from tax and financial planning to entity selection, payroll implementation, reporting metrics, compliance with federal and state regulations, business plans, client development, tax returns and reviews as well as how to better understand their businesses from a financial perspective. Mario has been specializing in helping small businesses grow through proper accounting and financial strategies, client development practices and operational management throughout his career. His business savvy, in combination with his accounting acumen, has earned the trust and respect of his clients, who confide in him and view him as a strategic partner for the success of their companies and personal financial position.
Formerly a principal with DiNenna Iwanczuk CPAs, LLC and a managing director of American Express Tax & Business Services, Mario’s previous experience includes managing accounting for retailers and wholesalers, service organizations, government and construction contractors, and QuickBooks consulting. He continues to serve these industries for tax compliance, planning and preparation as well as for general business consulting.
Mario obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Temple University in Philadelphia. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a licensed member of the Maryland Association of CPAs.
Michael D. Iwanczuk, CPA
Michael is a Partner with Iwanczuk & Associates and has approximately 15 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant. He focuses on providing tax and financial planning for government contractors, construction companies, professional service providers (i.e., doctors, lawyers, payroll providers, etc.), technology companies, private foundations and entrepreneurial ventures. Michael frequently serves as an Outsourced CFO for his clients, providing financial strategy and direction as well as hands-on financial support, including QuickBooks implementation, training and adjustments.
Formerly a staff accountant for DiNenna Iwanczuk CPAs, LLC and an auditor for an accounting firm specializing in non-profits, Michael’s previous experience includes reviews and compilations for small businesses and non-profit organizations, accounting and tax preparation and planning for government contractors, corporations, partnerships and individuals as well as QuickBooks and Peachtree consulting.
Michael obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland’s College of Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a licensed member of the Maryland Association of CPAs. As treasurer of the Bright Minds Foundation, Michael supports educational opportunities for Howard County Public School system children.
Kevin is a Staff Accountant with Iwanczuk & Associates and assists with quarterly and year-end tax planning, preparation and compliance matters for entrepreneurs, start-up companies, non-profit organizations and individuals. He also participates in preparing compilations and reviews, as well as financial planning.
Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Towson University and is preparing for the CPA exam.
Christine Bean is the office manager at Iwanczuk and Associates. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Communication from Stevenson University. Christine assists with bookkeeping, tax preparation assembly, client assistance and scheduling, and other office management duties. She has 5 years experience in marketing, sales, and public relations.
Christina Gorman is the Bookkeeping Specialist at Iwanczuk and Associates. Chris’ experience in accounting began just out of college when she went to work for a small flooring installation company in Baltimore, MD. It was there that she discovered her love of numbers and accounting. In 2007 Chris became co-owner of a family owned and operated bookkeeping company and later founded her own bookkeeping company. She joined Iwanczuk & Associates in March of 2016. Her software specialties include QuickBooks Pro, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks set-up and training, Sage (PeachTree), and Procas Accounting Software for Government Contractors.
